Bruh this was last updated on June 26 of this year. It's now November 14th. Wtf.
TERRIBLE android experience on modern android device. Using a fold 6. Any motion or scene played is insanely laggy to the point t of not being viewable. Which is nuts because my phone can run much more complex games like COD. Its so frustrating because I really like the story so far.
These types of games aren't designed to be played on mobile devices. Don't blame the game for that; try playing it on a suitable device instead. And if you don't have access to one or the "required privacy" to play it, don't criticize the game, criticize yourself. I don't mean to offend you, I just want you to realize that comments like this: 1. Don't help the game's development because they aren't constructive criticism. 2. Don't encourage more people to try it. YOU had a bad experience playing it on a mobile device. It's likely that you're having problems playing it on mobile because of the Ren'Py plugin for phones, which is common and not unique to this game (Harem Hotel is another game that runs terribly on mobile devices, precisely because of the plugin).

Yes, that's normal. It's not the game itself; it's Ren'Py in general that's ridiculously difficult to optimize for mobile devices. I've had this happen with other visual novels too. Unfortunately, the Ren'Py mobile plugin is awful and makes the experience of some games quite poor. However, if you have the chance later, you should play it again on a PC for a smooth experience. Honestly, just seeing the animations is worth it, and if you couldn't complete the game or didn't continue because of the stuttering in the mobile plugin, it's even more highly recommended.

around the middle or late game the writing needs same serious proofreading the grammar and spellings become artrocious aside from that pretty cool game character design is probably the strong suit here writing for the main plot and antagonist is pretty good for others well let's see
There are also a bug where that green elf's image does not show up in AI cards atleast on mobile

Well, that is good to know. I just don't like Discord so I can't say one way or the other, but it does look to have slowed down aa bit.

Too bad. The text of what MC thought are shown in PURPLE colour, that made it EXTREMELY difficult to read and oftentimes were unreadable when the text was shown in wooden stuffs and anything dim or darkened colour.
This ruined my expectations to it. Since I literally can't read. How I "play" this visual novel properly?
It's kinda a good thing that this AVN allowed to adjust text font scale...yet that scale was soooooooooo difficult to click or drag. Took me few minutes that drive me nuts to set em to 80%... but it still can't solve that purple unreadable text problem.

I noticed on android the animations were absolutely borked. only get 3-5 frames out of the whole animation n it just skips between them. samsung s22. HOWEVER on pc. its great.

It's so laggy after the update. I assume you amped up the graphics, but that made all the scenes way too laggy. I know it isn't my device, because the previous update had no issues with lag, meaning the current update cause SEVERE lag. I would greatly appreciate it if you could fix it, or add different graphic settings, please and thank you!

First of all, its a matter of taste. So your little rule here is untrue just on the face of it.
I for example struggle to stay engaged with an AVN after 6 months of Dev time.
Once it hits 9 months+ of Dev time I will almost certainly quit even if I really love the story, which I did with Genex Love.
Theres an AVN called 'Crimson High' it usually has a Dev cycle of roughly 6 weeks. Its one of the best AVN I have ever read.

I just have too much self-respect to allow these devs to treat me like that.
Games not dead i believe the dev prob has something going on with them, so dont say its dead until an announcement from discord devs, or by someone who is actually connected to Akaime, Cause that gives false depression for a good H-story like this one
If the dev wants to show the AVN isn't dead he should do Dev Logs including reports on progress at least once a month.
That way we have some indication he's still cooking.
If the dev says nothing for months, the assumption his AVN is dead is understandable.
ye but then that would mean that youd have to count other games dead since sometimes they do a devlog one every 2-3 months, and yet they are'nt, plus devs are only human, hell sometimes it take me longer to do 3d texturing for simple things cause i get tired of it and want a long break
I would count them as dead if I don't see a content release every 6-9 months. Period. If it takes longer than 9 months then it better be a wonderful AVN. Even then I'm not giving them my money until they improve their dev times.
Yes Devs are only human... but humans go to work every single day and they have to demonstrate a minimal skill level, prove themselves to their bosses and keep their customers happy. Every single day. That or they get fired.
The same applies to devs.
Sure you can take breaks. But when you fall behind on your schedule you have to do overtime too dont you?
All of this boils down to this: If you want to get paid for your art, treat it like a job. Your customers pay you, so they are your bosses.

They have jobs too, and can't dedicate every waking hour to rolling out a new update. Just don't bitch about not getting a new update within a few months and wait like the rest of us
If they have another job, a full time job, they should probably dedicate themselves to that other job and stop writing this AVN.
Or at least actually explain that they have another job so that I know, then I can take it into account. And by that I mean, explain it here on Itch where I can see it rather than expecting me to join their Discord channel or Patreon.

I dont expect the next release in a few months, I dont expect it at all. I didnt really enjoy this AVN, it was OK I guess.
But every artist should seek to improve and dev time is one factor that all of these guys, with one or two exceptions, seem to think they can just ignore.

as far as i've seen in discord, Akaime is working still. 3.6 -> 3.7 was 4 months so it's not exactly an unprecedented wait
Unplayable on android. Previous updates didn't lag at all during animations, now it is extremely laggy for every animation. Every other renpy game on my phone does not have this issue. Seems like bad optimization for an otherwise stellar game.
The 0.3.7 version is peak, that all i can say after a long time that i last play since forever, the animation IMPROVE ALOT and the story is peak, also the the sound effect that go along with animation is really good 😭so yeah, i will definitely continue to play this game when it update, sending love and support from here, take the time to create the master piece. ❤️🩹
