Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew what to do to progress with effie's story, it says to do something at school but I've checked every area and clicked around the entrance screen. any help would be great
You had your time wasted how? You downloaded to bust, but got upset about a little bit of clicking. Might wanna' go watch the hub instead of downloading VN's my guy.
You want to play a story? Suuure. You want to "play" for the story, yet you don't want to "play" for the story... Make up your mind. You click in both a normal VN, and a Sandbox. Go read a manga, manhwa, webtoon. You won't have to click. If you're only there for the story that is :)
are u dumb? normal vn is auto to the next part and area without u going random spot on a map and hope that is the next part of the story like have u ever play Eternum? it dont make u clicking random stuff, is linear not a sandbox
Sandbox isn't random clicking, you're simply to dumb to know where to look & go. Eternum you're also clicking, but aye. There's a literal Sandbox in Eternum. (EX: Search mansion for clues, Wolves / Vampires, and more.) Go off though (Called me dumb, yet Eternum is part Sandbox).
I want to know what your problem is with using your fingers just a tiny bit, you know what they're for right? You're such a wuss you can't click on an icon, and *boom* story pops up. You'd rather say "This game is a Sandbox, be warned." You really warned everyone buddy.
You're truly missing out on many Visual Novels that're Sandboxes. DM me if you want recommendations.

I downloaded the game for obvious reasons but honestly, I just love the writing and characters. I'm not even in a rush to get to the good stuff, I'm just choosing normal, non perv choices I would say or do in real life.

I know it's a little late but if you haven't already worked it out have a look at your characters card it should tell you what "you" as the player need to do to be able to progress further

Does the game actually uses AI for the NPCs? (I'm thinking like those yandere gf escape room games or that one vampire delivery game where you can talk to an AI)

I really liked the game a lot but the end (i don't think it's a spoiler because it isn't part of the story but i wanted to put this for people who want to experence it) the end is cool and the music beutiful but there aren't almost any caracter,and yeah this is basicaly the only thing than needs to be worked on the rest is a master piece thank you for all the work you put doing this game i still can't believe this game is free (but please keep it this way)

So your game is a joy to play. The art style, music, characters, and even the world's lore is awesome. It is engaging and interesting, so I am always eager to see new developments in the world and learn it's history. The cast of characters also have story to them that makes them not just eye catching, so this really is great. Keep it up with this effort and detail and I believe your game will be one of the best I've ever enjoyed on itch.io.

One of the best games I've been able to play, it has such a good design, the characters are solidly built and unique, the art style is just nice, the story also makes me want to read and especially the built-in animation, crazy didn't understand it at all,

You can find the code along the game, in some scenes you can see the numbers in the background. For example in the pictures in this page, the one with Akaime and male chara in the beach have a code, not here but in the game
If you put the code you will see a pic from one chara.

I think you 1st need to progress in the main story ( it's better to follow what the window main story says )

I'll be honest. Went into this reasons we all know, but I quickly got hooked on the story. This is a gem of a game and I shall await further updates.
